Penghargaan tersebut diberikan Televisi Muhammadiyah (tvMu).<\/p>\n<p>Penghargaan diberikan dalam satu rangkaian dari peringatan 1 Dekade tvMu. Menurut Direktur tvMu sekaligus Wakil Ketua Majelis Pustaka dan Informasi Pimpinan Pusat Muhammadiyah, Makroen Sanjaya, penghargaan tersebut diberikan sebagai rekognisi atas kecakapan Rektor UMS di dunia pendidikan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKami berikan kepada beliau sebagai sebuah award penghargaan sebagai rekognisi sekaligus bahwa ketokohan beliau, kiprah beliau dan bagaimana usaha-usaha untuk membesarkan UMS ini cukup hebat,\u201d ungkapnya, Sabtu (16\/3\/2024).<\/p>\n<p>Sementara itu, Rektor UMS Prof Sofyan Anif mengapresiasi pemberian penghargaan pada dirinya tersebut. Ia merasa bersyukur juga karena telah ditetapkan sebagai tokoh di bidang pendidikan.<\/p>\n<p>Anif menuturkan, temuan-temuan kemudian dijadikan sebagai satu konsep yang bisa menjadi pendorong di dalam kemajuan pendidikan, terutama di lingkungan Muhammadiyah, dan itu dikategorikan sebagai inspirasi yang bisa diterapkan sebagai alat untuk memajukan pendidikan di Muhammadiyah maupun pemerintah.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTernyata konsep peningkatan profesi guru, terutama guru Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Pertama (SLTP) dan Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Atas (SLTA) yang sampai sekarang banyak digunakan, maka ini menjadi satu temuan yang tadi dikatakan sebagai inspirasi bagi para rektor, pengelola atau pimpinan pendidikan yang ada,\u201d bebernya.<\/p>\n<p>Konsep tersebut juga ditulis di buku-buku yang telah dipublikasikan, salah satunya adalah Pengantar Manajemen Pendidikan Paradigma Baru. Juga pada buku-buku lain yang ditujukan untuk memajukan dunia pendidikan.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, dalam bukunya berkaitan dengan kepemimpinan, terdapat model kepemimpinan yang digunakan dalam pendekatan untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik atau mahasiswa untuk menjadi sosok Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang unggul.<\/p>\n<p>Empat kompetensi sebagai sosok SDM unggul, yaitu Intelligent Quotient IQ, spiritual, sosial, emosional. Kompetensi tersebut menjadi rujukan yang tentunya harapannya menjadi satu modal besar untuk meraih Indonesia Emas.
