Menjawab tantangan tersebut, Program Studi (Prodi) Ilmu Komunikasi (Ilkom) Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (<a href=\"http:\/\/ums.ac.id\">UMS<\/a>) sukses menggelar agenda Seminar Nasional Communication Feast (COMFEAST) 2026 pada Kamis, (21\/5) dengan mengusung tema \u201cPR in the Digital Battlefield: Mastering Digital Presence and Creative Branding\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Tercatat sebanyak 427 peserta memadati lokasi seminar nasional yang terdiri dari mahasiswa Prodi Ilkom UMS, mahasiswa lintas program studi, hingga peserta dari luar UMS. Antusiasme peserta dari berbagai latar belakang tersebut menciptakan suasana seminar yang aktif, interaktif, dan penuh semangat.<\/p>\n<p>Seminar nasional ini diselenggarakan sebagai wadah untuk memperluas wawasan serta mengenalkan strategi dan tren terkini di bidang Public Relations (PR). Para peserta juga berkesempatan memperoleh insight langsung dari para praktisi profesional yang telah berpengalaman di dunia industri komunikasi dan kehumasan.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-38069\" src=\"https:\/\/news.ums.ac.id\/id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/Prodi-Ilmu-Komunikasi-UMS-Bahas-Creative-Branding-dan-Manajemen-Isu-Digital-di-COMFEAST-2026.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nieldya Nofandrilla, S.E., M.A., selaku Dosen Ilkom UMS, menyampaikan bahwa seminar Nasional COMFEAST 2026 juga menjadi bentuk komitmen Prodi Ilkom UMS dalam menghadirkan ruang pembelajaran yang relevan dengan perkembangan industri komunikasi digital. Melalui tema yang diangkat, seminar ini diharapkan mampu memperkuat kompetensi mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan public relations modern yang semakin dinamis dan kompetitif.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCOMFEAST 2026 kami hadirkan sebagai ruang belajar yang dekat dengan realitas industri komunikasi saat ini. Di era digital, kemampuan membangun branding kreatif dan mengelola isu tidak lagi menjadi keterampilan tambahan, melainkan kebutuhan utama bagi setiap komunikator. Kami ingin mahasiswa Ilkom UMS tidak hanya memahami teori komunikasi, tetapi juga mampu adaptif, kritis, dan strategis dalam menghadapi dinamika media digital yang terus berkembang,\u201d ujarnya, Jumat, (29\/5).<\/p>\n<p>Sesi pertama seminar diisi secara komprehensif oleh Avianto Nugroho Putro, seorang Communication Specialist yang berpengalaman di agensi nasional dan bertugas untuk mengakomodasi keperluan berbagai klien industri. Dalam sesinya yang bertajuk &#8220;Digital Communications Issue Management&#8221;, Avianto mengupas tuntas cara memitigasi krisis informasi, mengelola rumor, dan menjaga integritas citra institusi di ruang siber.<\/p>\n<p>Memasuki sesi kedua, diisi alih oleh Rahardhian Galang Wicaksono, sosok inovatif yang merupakan Founder dari Sumur Creative. Rahardhian menggebrak lewat tema &#8220;Digital Guerilla&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTeknik pemasaran gerilya digital mampu menciptakan gaung branding yang masif, kreatif, serta berdampak tinggi, meski dengan pemanfaatan sumber daya yang efisien,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Kemanfaatan materi nyata dari &#8220;medan perang digital&#8221; ini tidak hanya dirasakan oleh mahasiswa internal prodi komunikasi, tetapi juga melintasi batas disiplin ilmu. Nabil Saputra, seorang Mahasiswa Arsitektur Angkatan 2024 yang hadir sebagai salah satu peserta umum, mengakui bahwa seminar ini membuka perspektif baru yang sangat ia butuhkan di dunianya.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Seminar ini sangat insightfull dan memberi prinsip penting: bahwa setiap orang adalah PR bagi dirinya sendiri dan orang terdekat. Bagi mahasiswa arsitektur, kemampuan komunikasi verbal sama pentingnya dengan keahlian visual, materi ini sangat membantu presentasi dan branding di media sosial,&#8221; ungkap Nabil dengan antusias.
